Quite simple answer: We rely on word of mouth referrals for continued business and don't have time for ellaborate marketing campaigns or lying and being dis-honest to clients. We do a GREAT job and our goal is to increase your business and impress you so much that you will happily refer us to your business colleages. All we ask is that if you are happy with our service that you pass on our name. Web development does NOT cost $140 AUD per hour like a lot of dis-honest Australian companies are charging. Hosting is NOT upwards of ten dollars per month and domain names do NOT cost two hundreed dollars per year
Can anyone build me a website?
Sure! If you want your business to suffer. I cant stress
the importance of doing it properly and professionally enough.
The site is the first impression people get of your business
and it also needs to have good search engine listings in
order to be found. Whatsmore, no, a friend may be able to
do you a simple HTML static site thats not capable of doing
anything but sitting there, but an effective site needs a
professional programmer. Honestly, we get tyred of correcting other peoples errors and trying to repair the damge that a bad web presence can cause your business.
What exactly do I need?
You will need a domain name which costs around ten dollars per year for a .com or slightly more for a .com.au and you will need hosting. Hosting for most average sized sites is available for around twenty five dollars per year. Be careful though if supplying your own hosting as most Australian firms will re-sell you the same hosting for up to thirty dollars per month and domain names at up to three hundred dollars per year. We research the best deals for you and are affiliated in no way whatsoever with the domain name suppliers or the hosting suppliers. We dont charge extra for these services and are happy to make profit from our work only.
How much do you charge?
Most Australian companies are charging upwards of one hundred dollars per hour! We charge around fourty dollars per hour. A simple, searchable dynamic PHP cataloge site with MYSQL databsae and back-end for the client to login on any computer with net connection and add or edit content with ease is around One thousand AUD. The site will be optimised for good search engine results and customised for your business. Ease of use and you will recieve free training in managing your content. A similar site by any other Australian company costs around three thousand upwards (for those even capable of anything more than a simple, static HTML site).
Although ethics prevents me from naming companies for comparison purposes I can give you an example price list of a competitor that has come up several times as previous designer or hosting for some of my clients:
